Come one, come all to the Alberta premiere of a new feature-length film, Shih (Interconnectedness) from a former instructor in MacEwan’s Communication program (2000–2015), Geo Takach.
The film follows Geo’s work with a cast of mainly Indigenous artists, teachers, thinkers and co-creators. Together, they explore ways to bring environmental, arts-based and Indigenous approaches into dialogue as a foundation for improving relationships with the Earth and Her First Peoples. One artist paints his response to that mission.
For details, please check out the film trailer, a backgrounder, and Geo’s related book, Environmental Communication and Conciliation, coming soon to Canada from Bloomsbury.
The session will conclude with a brief Q&A. We hope to see you there!
