Vaccines are one of the most effective tools available to help prevent serious illness, yet many adults still have questions about how they work, how they are tested, and how to make informed decisions about their health.

Join Dr. Robyn Harrison, clinical professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, for a discussion about adult vaccines and immunization. Whether you are confident in vaccines, unsure about them, or simply looking for reliable information, this session will provide an opportunity to learn more and ask questions.

We'll explore common questions about vaccines, address some of the misconceptions that often arise in conversations and online, and discuss what current medical understanding tells us about vaccine safety, effectiveness, and side effects. We'll also talk about how vaccines help protect individuals and communities, and what adults should know as they make decisions about their health during respiratory illness season and throughout the year.

Designed for a general adult audience, this session will focus on practical, evidence-informed information to help participants better understand adult vaccines and feel confident navigating the information they encounter every day.

Questions are encouraged, and participants will have an opportunity to engage with the speaker during the Q&A portion of the webinar.
