Self-publishing, hybrid publishing, and traditional publishing—oh my! Join the 2026 Metro Edmonton Writers-in-Residence Alexis Marie Chute and David Berry as they discuss their publishing journeys.

David will demystify the traditional route, with tips and tricks for standing out when pitching and working with traditional publishers. Alexis will share her expertise as a hybrid book author and publisher and how this avenue is an innovative new option for motivated and entrepreneurial writers. Together they will inspire you to get your book into the world, whichever publishing path you choose.
