Technology Alberta and the Edmonton Research Park invite you to learn about U of A Law's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and free legal supports.
Join University of Alberta Faculty of Law's Entrepreneurial Law Clinic (ELC) for a lunchtime pop-up session designed to introduce local entrepreneurs to the legal supports available to early-stage and growing businesses.
Hosted in partnership with Technology Alberta and the Edmonton Research Park, this session will provide an overview of how the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic works, the types of legal matters it supports, and how founders can access services through the clinic.
The presentation will be followed by informal one-on-one introductions with members of the ELC team.
What you can expect
- A brief introduction to the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic
- Overview of common legal issues faced by startups and scaling companies
- Explanation of eligibility and how to engage with the Clinic
- Q&A with the ELC team
- Optional one-on-one conversations following the presentation
