We invite you to join us for a learning session bringing together powerful voices from the Intersections of Identity project to center the lived experiences of unhoused individuals and young people navigating food insecurity in Edmonton.

Featuring storytellers, artists, and frontline workers, this panel will explore how identity, including Indigeneity, age, gender, and socio-economic status shapes access to food and dignity. Together, panelists will reflect on what current systems are missing, what community-led solutions are emerging, and what it truly means to build food systems that are just, inclusive, and responsive.

The session is part of the Food Security & Food Justice Ecosystem of Edmonton project, and aims to challenge assumptions, deepen understanding among food policy stakeholders, and provide tangible insights to guide more equitable systems design.
