More Information

Jess Sanderson-Barry from Chakastaypasin Band will share different ways of knowing how to traditionally tan a moose hide.

Traditional hide tanning is a form of reclamation, sovereignty and it is cultural resurgence. Our relative the môswa is a very healing animal, we will understand the importance of community, transmission of knowledge and share oral stories of how the môswa is healing our own communities.
