Social cohesion refers to the extent of connectedness and solidarity among groups and individuals in society.
Did you know that living within a social cohesive community has been associated with a wide range of improved health outcomes for its members? In this webinar and panel presentation, Luc Sauze will explain what social cohesion means, why social cohesion is important to our health, and provide an overview of the Centre for Healthy Communities Social Cohesion Resources for Building Healthy Communities. Following the presentation panelists will discuss their experiences with social cohesion from both a research and practice perspective.
