Closing Storytelling Event: The Garden
Saturday, March 15, 2025
1:00pm to 6:00pm
15
Join us for a special event at the Art Gallery of St. Albert on March 15 to mark the end of The Garden, by Elsa Robinson.
With lifetimes of knowledge, skill and effort, The Garden is planted in Elsa’s heritage and culture. Jamaican characters, imagery and stories are found throughout the space.
To mark the last day of this stunning exhibition, hear a selection of stories from around the world. Elsa will be joined by authors Marty Chan and Tololwa Mollel to share traditional folk stories and more modern tales. The tales will start at 1 pm. At the end, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions, or to share some stories of their own.
This event is free and open to all ages.
Please register in advance.
