The International Festival of Winter Cinema recognizes and celebrates Canadian and international cinema with winter, alpine, and polar themes of any genre and style for all audiences.

The International Festival of Winter Cinema recognizes and celebrates Canadian and international cinema with winter, alpine, and polar themes of any genre and style for all audiences. These outstanding films will be projected onto a giant snow screen, you heard that right, it is a screen made of snow, in our special purpose built cinema. We are extremely excited to host the world’s only free, outdoor, winter film festival as part of the Silver Skate Festival!
