Minister Eleanor Olszewski, Member of Parliament for Edmonton Centre, delivers a first-hand account of the federal government's updated economic outlook and what it means for businesses in our city and region.

The federal Spring Economic Update is Ottawa's mid-course check on the fiscal road ahead and will be tabled on April 28th, 2026.

Join us as Minister Eleanor Olszewski, Member of Parliament for Edmonton Centre, delivers a first-hand account of the federal government's updated economic outlook and what it means for businesses in our city and region.

With global trade uncertainty, shifting commodity markets, and mounting pressure on housing, infrastructure, and workforce development, the Spring Economic Statement is expected to signal how Ottawa plans to respond. Will there be new signals on defence spending and what it means for Western Canadian industry? Accelerated investment in energy transition and AI? Relief on affordability and supply-chain constraints? Minister Olszewski is positioned at the centre of these conversations, and she's bringing them directly to the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.
