Mallory Chipman's "cinematic folk-rock" captivates audiences with vivid lyrics and acrobatic vocals, drawing comparisons to Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush, as her album tops charts. T. Buckley's Acoustic Trio delivers captivating country-folk performances with tight harmonies and evocative storytelling, showcasing Buckley's timeless melodies and masterful musicianship.

Fresh off the heels of her fifth studio album release, Mallory Chipman’s signature brand of "cinematic folk-rock" is making waves in the Canadian roots scene. Her latest record, Songs to a Wild God, hit #1 on CKUA upon its release and #5 on North American Folk Music Radio. Songs to a Wild God displays Mallory’s vivid lyricism and acrobatic vocals atop a deft and dynamic rhythm section, and "places her amidst the longer tradition of the great singer-songwriters" (Americana UK).

In the past year alone, Chipman has toured across Canada, Europe, and Asia, turning heads at major showcases and drawing comparison to Alison Krauss, Kate Bush, and Joni Mitchell. With her skillful balance of grit and grace; of contemporary protest songs and bare confessionals, Mallory Chipman powerfully embodies a rare and striking duality that leaves audiences wordless in wonderment.

T. Buckley’s Acoustic Trio delivers a captivating and dynamic performance rooted in the rich traditions of country and folk music. Led by Calgary-based singer-songwriter T. Buckley, the trio showcases tight harmonies and intricate arrangements that bring Buckley’s evocative narratives to life. Known for his timeless melodies and heartfelt storytelling, Buckley’s original compositions form the core of the setlist, complemented by carefully chosen covers that enhance the show’s emotional depth.

With a career spanning over a decade, Buckley has established himself as a staple in Alberta’s roots music scene, earning acclaim for albums like Miles We Put Behind and Frame by Frame. The trio’s performances are a testament to their musicianship, blending soulful vocals with masterful instrumentation. Whether performing at intimate venues or larger festivals, T. Buckley’s Acoustic Trio offers audiences an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, and connection.
