Concerto for Two Pianos

April 10, 2026 to April 11, 2026

Winspear Centre
More Information

Audience-favourite Sara Davis Buechner and Edmonton-born rising star Jessica Yuma perform Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos, sparkling music influenced by Mozart, Liszt, Ravel, and Balinese gamelan.

William Walton’s powerful Symphony No. 1 takes listeners on a journey through rich harmony, heart-wrenching climaxes, and ultimate triumph.

Vaughan Williams’ shimmering Fantasia for double string orchestra and string quartet is a mystical tribute to a theme written during the Renaissance by Thomas Tallis.

This concert will include an intermission.

Prelude

Patrons of this event are invited to attend a prelude presentation before this concert on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11, starting at 6:45 PM in the Upper Circle Lobby (3rd Floor).
