Guest Speaker Bio:

Deepti Babu, MS, CGC (she/her), is a board-certified genetic counsellor and communications expert with more than 25 years of experience helping people make meaning of complex information. A graduate of AWE’s BOLD Leadership program, she is the Founder of Integrity Content Consulting, where she brings clarity to scientific and business communication across the biotechnology sector in her medical writing and content strategy. Deepti has held multiple leadership roles in Canada and the U.S., including serving as the 2023 President of the National Society of Genetic Counselors, often as “the only” or “the first.” As a guest advisor for AWE, she supports entrepreneurs in finding clarity and confidence in how they communicate and lead, drawing on her background in healthcare, organizational leadership, and storytelling. She’s happy to be reconnecting with the AWE community and helping to support fellow women entrepreneurs.
