Behind every song is a story.

And the songs of Christmas are linked to a world of fascinating legends, ideas and history. THE ANNOTATED CHRISTMAS SONG BOOK is a Yuletide musical revue that lets you experience songs of the season in a new light. Whether it is traditional carols such as Silent Night” or contemporary favorites such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, every song has a tale to tell.

For the sixth time this celebration of Yule time magic, music and holiday lore is presented in the majestic Sanctuary of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and features musical performances by Stuart Adams, Frank Burgess, Kelly Collins, Ken Davis, Linda Grass, Bev Ross, Andrea Trueman and C.M. Zuby.

Featuring some of Edmonton’s most talented and versatile musical artists this is a Christmas concert that embraces the magical music of the season in all its wide variety. What makes this Christmas concert unique is that every song is introduced by a fascinating annotation; a story that gives each holiday tune fresh meaning and new perspective. Sometimes funny, sometimes dramatic, sometimes just weird, every annotation adds another angle on the Christmas season and its traditions.

Uplifting, amusing, entertaining, enlightening and unexpected, THE ANNOTATED CHRISTMAS SONG BOOK is an utterly one of a kind holiday experience suitable for the whole family.

The Annotated Christmas Song Book is a fundraiser for arts programming at Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
