Application of Technology for Improved Mine Operations

The GMG Edmonton Forum, co-hosted by the Surface Mining Society of CIM, is a two-day gathering focused on improving surface mine operations through the effective use of technology. Mining operators, OEMs, OTMs, integrators, and innovators will come together to share case studies, discuss lessons learned, and co-create strategies for achieving safer, more productive, and more sustainable operations.

The program is designed around the full technology lifecycle in mining – from understanding and selecting the right technology, to successful implementation, to achieving ongoing performance that drives measurable productivity gains, improves safety and reduces operating costs, and finally to imagining the future of mining fleets and operations.
