As an attendee you will have the opportunity to learn from University and applied researchers, Government and NGO, industry, and producer panelists. The WCCSHG will have an on-going trade show throughout the Conference with a variety of regenerative ag resources including vendors specializing in fencing, water resources, soil health, cattle performance, and financial management. The WCCSHG is an amazing networking opportunity to swap experiences, advice, and to learn from other producers attending who all share a common interest!

The 2026 WCCSHG Banquet Keynote Speaker: General Rick Hillier, a highly respected former Chief of the Defence Staff known for his leadership, resilience, and engaging perspective on teamwork and decision-making under pressure.
The WCCSHG is a collaborative event hosted by ten of the Applied Research and Forage Associations within Alberta. The Chinook Applied Research Association (CARA), located in Oyen, AB, oversees conference registration and administration.
