What did Edmonton sound like a century ago? What aromas filled its streets? Which flavours have disappeared from our tables? How did we experience the different seasons? How have disability, language, culture, and accessibility shaped the way you sense and navigate the city? How do the various senses help you find belonging in Edmonton?

Join us for an interactive pop-up museum where you are the curator. Bring an everyday object that connects to Edmonton's sensory history, a vintage recipe card, a photograph of a vanished restaurant, fabric from a memorable celebration, or anything that tells a story of Edmonton through sight, sound, smell, taste, or touch.

Special Guests: Provincial Archives of Alberta

Archivists from the PAA will share fascinating treasures from their collection, including audio of vintage Edmonton square dance callers and historic recipe cards with ingredients you won't find today. They'll also offer expert advice on preserving your personal collections and how to donate objects to archives.
