Join us for Strathcona County’s annual Celebration of Lights, a festive kickoff to the holiday season!

This free, family-friendly event transforms Festival Place into a magical winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer.

Event highlights:

  • Wagon rides with Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • Campfire cooking and cozy treats
  • Holiday crafts and face painting
  • Letters to Santa writing station
  • Cookie decorating kits to take home
  • Special guests throughout the festival site

At 5 p.m., gather for the lighting of the community holiday lights and LED tree — a dazzling moment to welcome the season!

Give Back
Help spread the holiday spirit by bringing a donation for the Strathcona Food Bank.

Dress Warm!
Most activities take place outdoors, so bundle up and come prepared to enjoy the festivities in comfort.
