Strategy, Best Practices, and How to Make it a Worthwhile Partnership

In this session, you’ll learn how to make influencer marketing work for you. From hotel bookings to attractions, event attendance and purchases, learn the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ to make working with influencers worthwhile. This session will present strategic considerations, best practices, pitfalls to watch out for, and ultimately leave you with a tangible roadmap for how to most effectively and efficiently work with influencers to achieve your organization’s goals and objectives.

Graciously hosted by the City of Edmonton at the Edmonton Valley Zoo, this Education Lunch will be held in the Otter Room. This venue offers free parking and the entrance is at the Main Doors.

Linda Hoang is one of Alberta’s leading social media strategists and well-known content creators working with organizations big and small. As a longtime social media influencer and content creator, Linda has worked with countless brands in areas including food, hospitality and tourism to develop engaging digital content that helps organizations achieve their goals. As a senior social media strategist, Linda has worked with countless organizations from small and large business, non-profit, and government, on developing social media strategy, content marketing plans, and delivering social media training on a range of impactful topics. In the influencer marketing space, Linda brings a breath and depth of unmatched, real-world knowledge given her tangible experience as both the influencer and the influencer marketer. She’s passionate about supporting local and is also the founder of the Edmonton International Cat Festival, Stop Race Based Hate, and the Chinatown Chow Down.
