Join this webinar -Supportive Housing for Individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), presented by Bissell Centre.

Hope Terrace Supportive Housing has developed a tailored program to address the unique needs of individuals living with FASD. Rooted in the philosophy of empowerment, our care approach aims to enable residents to reach their full potential. Patrice Williams and Heidi Mireau, residents of Hope Terrace, actively engage with an FASD-specific support team to pursue their life goals. Through case management, occupational therapy, community involvement, and skill development, they navigate barriers and achieve successes. Their experiences offer valuable insights for professionals and individuals with lived experiences, demonstrating how leveraging strengths and addressing barriers can facilitate effective support systems.

The presentation format will feature a question-and-answer interview session, during which a Hope Terrace staff member will engage with Heidi and Patrice about their living experiences, recommendations for professionals, and successes. This will be followed by an audience Q&A session focusing on reviewing specific supports utilized by Heidi and Patrice. The goal of the conversation will be identifying gaps in the support system and assessing the impact of the FASD-specific community on their progress.
