Connecting industry clinical trial sponsors with Alberta's expertise, sites, and resources.

Alberta has unique research strengths and assets that make it an attractive destination for industry-sponsored clinical trials. The Alberta BioPartners event will bring representatives from global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to interact with Alberta investigators, research groups, and clinical trial sites. The agenda will feature presentations from Alberta's world-renowned research institutes and sponsors will be provided an opportunity to share their clinical priorities and what they look for to initiate studies in the province.

The overall objectives of this meeting are to:

• Promote Alberta’s existing strengths

• Showcase regional enabling organizations

• Provide a first-in-kind networking opportunity for investigators and clinics to engage with sponsors as potential trial sites

• Raise Alberta’s reputation and international profile as a destination for conducting high-quality and efficient clinical trials.

• Help inform future strategies and priorities for Alberta in growing and sustaining an attractive clinical trial ecosystem.
