Join Darren McGeown, owner and operator of Arcadia Brewing, as he talks to us about beer brewing in Edmonton and their Time of Kindness initiative.

In a world where time often feels scarce, prioritizing kindness can be transformative. Arcadia's shift from brewing for profit to brewing for the people exemplifies this ethos, recognizing that fostering community and empathy is as vital as any bottom line. By actively engaging with their local community, Arcadia not only spreads kindness but also cultivates meaningful connections, serving as a catalyst for positive change. Through initiatives aimed at giving back to those in need, Arcadia demonstrates that businesses can be both successful and socially responsible, creating a brighter tomorrow one pint at a time

This session is part of Learn Downtown, a City of Learners speaker series offering bite-size learning opportunities downtown. A complimentary lunch will be provided in support by The Downtown Vibrancy Strategy.

Darren McGeown is the owner/operator of Arcadia Brewing. Arcadia Brewing is a haven for the nostalgic, shining a spotlight on what makes Edmonton so great. Brewed with passion and love right here on-site, our brews cater to both craft beer novices and aficionados alike.
