Join your Science Centre to safely observe a partial solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024 (if skies are clear)!
Viewing a partial solar eclipse will require special solar filters to be viewed safely. It is NOT safe to watch a solar eclipse with your eyes alone, unlike a lunar eclipse.
Safe solar viewers can also be purchased in the Galaxy Gift Shop at the TELUS World of Science – Edmonton - please ask the cashier.
Remember, the event is weather dependent and consequently the eclipse may not be visible if we have overcast skies. So, dress warmly for the event, and let’s hope for clear skies!
