Help us welcome back Richard Van Camp for the launch of his new Indigenous horror short story collection, "Wheetago War Stories".

The more they eat the hungrier they become, and they are starving. This volume collects Richard Van Camp’s prose stories of the Wheetago for the first time, alongside new spot illustrations from artist, Christopher Shy. Richard has reworked the stories for this collection. Humanity’s greed has unleashed the horror that generations of keepers of the land have warned us about. Wheetago War Stories collects the short stories: On the Wings of this Prayer, The Fleshing, The Truth Between Us, Widow, Lying in Bed Together, Summoners, and Wheetago War.

Richard Van Camp is a proud Tlicho Dene from Fort Smith, NWT, currently living in Edmonton. Richard is a storyteller and best-selling author of 31 books and graphic novels including the Eisner nominated A Blanket of Butterflies.
