We are excited to have Former CanaJoin us on Saturay, Oct. 17th at 3pm for the launch of Former Canadian Senator Douglas Roche's newest book "Values/Chaos: Discovering Mark Carney and Canada's Role in a Ruptured World" with special guest Hon. Thomas Lukaszuk (forever Canada Leader).
Mark Carney was sworn in as the 24th Prime Minister of Canada on March 14, 2025 with credentials that outshone virtually all his predecessors. A few months later, in a riveting speech to world financial leaders at Davos, Switzerland, he urged middle powers to band together to repair the “rupture” in the world order. Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential persons in the world. Where does he stand on the great issues of war and peace in our turbulent times? What has been the cost of fending off the avaricious U.S. President Donald Trump? Former Senator Douglas Roche traces Carney’s approach to peace and security issues.
