Featuring the work of JCat - who designed our festival image and creates art that fuses pop culture iconography and Indigenous identity into something entirely new.
EdmonToms Art by Tom Baril – incorporating pop culture and gaming images into beadwork along with pieces from his "Forgotten Moccasin" series that highlight urban landscapes while conveying the narrative of displaced Indigeneity. THORN is an immersive 3rd-person interactive horror experience created by Oshki Games Ltd. that explores identity, loss, transformation and reclamation through digital storytelling. the installation invites participants into a quiet, unsettling world where atmosphere, sound, and interaction become tools for reflection. THORN represents a contemporary approach to Indigenous storytelling through interactive media, video games and installation art.
