Indigenous Arts Festival
Rubaboo is a Métis-Michif language word that refers to a rich stew filled with all good things. Rubaboo is a philosophy about what sustains us; about feeding the spirit and thriving through the arts. The theme of this year’s festival is You Are Loved: wêsihcikêw, and features a powerful and eclectic mix, beautifully curated to celebrate Indigenous resilience, and Indigenous brilliance.“You Are Loved: wêsihcikêw” is a testament to the richness and depth of Indigenous arts locally and across turtle island. We include traditional and contemporary arts and artists, both professional and emerging, who come together to create a feast for the senses and nourishment for the soul.
