Ask your questions and see if you qualify to apply for the Aerospace Innovation Program.

Calling all aerospace engineers and innovators! Join us for an information session on the Aerospace Accelerator Program (AAP), presented in partnership with funders Calgary Economic Development’s Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund and Prairies Economic Development Canada, and inaugural industry partners including WestJet, the Calgary Airport Authority, and Chapter AI Ventures.

Alberta plays a pivotal role in advancing Canada's aerospace industry, and we're committed to supporting your journey to scale and grow. Alberta boasts proximity to key markets in the USA and Asia, low population density, and a rich talent pool. Access to resources from the University of Calgary, along with support from an international airport backed by partners like WestJet and the Calgary Airport Authority, makes Alberta a prime destination for aerospace innovation.

The AAP is a two-year program designed to equip participants with executive-level skills necessary to launch and scale start-ups in the aerospace sector. We are dedicated to fostering the next generation of founders, offering:

  • A funding package of $200,000 to fuel your aerospace innovation.
  • Access to state-of-the-art research space and labs at the Aerospace Innovation Hub.
  • Professional development training to sharpen your entrepreneurial acumen.

Review the application form here and bring your questions to the info session. No recordings will be provided.

The submission deadline for the AAP is September 30th. There is funding for 2 startups in the second cohort.

Don't miss this opportunity to elevate your venture in the aerospace sector with financial support, expert guidance, and cutting-edge facilities. Join us online on September 9, from 12-1 pm MST, and learn more about how AAP can accelerate your path to success.

The Zoom session link will be provided in the ticket confirmation email.
