Head down to Edmonton's Snow Valley Ski Club, opens a new window to take in FREE concerts with music and poetry every Tuesday evening this summer.
British-Canadian-Polish classical guitarist Marek Orszulik is a graduate (MMus) of the Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK and is passionate about presenting undiscovered historical gems of the guitar repertoire. He has worked with numerous reputable composers and given world premiere performances of works by Andrew Glover-Whitley, Lauren McCall, Cole Dorchester, and Stuart Beatch, among others. In addition to his solo appearances, he regularly works with guitarist Tyson Oatway in Duo Nebula and with soprano Whitney Sloan in Duo Coriolis. In 2025, Marek released his first solo album, Fantazja, covering repertoire by Polish composers from the Renaissance to the present day.

Liet Borowski is a nonbinary trans woman who has been living in Amiskwaciwâskahikan for the past 14 years after moving here from Mohkinstis. They are white and neurodivergent, living with ADHD, Autism, and Depression. She lives with her wife, brother-in-law, and cat, and she has been writing poetry for the past year as part of a project to explore gender outside of labels. They also enjoy gardening, playing music, and sword-fighting.
