Join us for a hands-on evening uncovering the colors of the natural world! Led by artist Chelsea Boos, we’ll explore the art of contact dyeing.

Using seasonal flowers and local plant forage, we’ll transform plain cotton handkerchiefs into beautiful, one-of-a-kind textile art pieces.

Chelsea Boos has been nurturing plants with her mom, Sandra, since she was a little sprout. A lifelong resident of amiskwaciy, she grows climate‑adapted, open‑pollinated, and organically cultivated plants rooted in the northern prairie Aspen parkland along the kisiskâciwani‑sîpiy (North Saskatchewan River). Her gardening practice is grounded in care for community, ecology, and the relationships that sustain life on the land.
