Tina Hartt

Tina Hartt is a Calgary-based vocalist. Known as the jazz singer with a French twist, Tina performs bilingual original songs, jazz standards and French chanson favorites including those by Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, and Jacques Brel. Specializing in French chanson and jazz standards mixed with Cuban rhythms, Tina puts on Parisienne-style shows. Currently singing with the Ninth Avenue Big Band, she has also performed at venues around Calgary and has been featured at the Jazz YYC International Jazz Days Festival, the ProArts@noon Concert Series, the Cliff Bungalow Jazz Series, the Parkdale Performance Wednesday Night Jazz Series and in Edmonton at the Yardbird Suite and La Cité Francophone Patio Concert Series.

Van Django

Vancouver-based Van Django is an acoustic string ensemble comprised of four of Canada's most talented and eclectic musicians. With a shared passion for Jazz Manouche, they deliver high-energy, sophisticated performances that captivate audiences and keep the spirit of 1930s swing alive and thriving today. The dynamic ensemble has established itself as a formidable force in the international jazz scene. Rooted deeply in the iconic acoustic traditions of early 20th-century France, Van Django has extensively toured from coast to coast. Their irresistible sound and universal appeal have also propelled them onto the global stage, leading to international tours throughout the United States, Europe and China.
