The Sherwood Park Highland Gathering brings the heart‑pounding energy of Celtic tradition to Strathcona County each summer, transforming Broadmoor Lake Park into a lively festival of music, dance, athletics, and heritage. This family‑friendly event showcases the best of Scottish culture with pipe band competitions, Highland dance, and the iconic heavy games, including the caber tosses and hammer throws, performed by some of Alberta's strongest athletes.
