We invite you to join us and explore your creativity in a welcoming space for all that encourages mental-wellness. Share in dialogue, art-making, and skill-sharing between people of different backgrounds, ages, cultures, and abilities. Art Buffet is free, materials are provided, and no prior art experience is necessary.

The Art Buffet is the Mitchell Art Gallery's own "art hive", a concept developed over two decades of research by Dr. Janis Timm-Bottos rooted in ideas of art therapy and inclusivity. Every Wednesday, we gather and invite the community to join us in self-directed, no-pressure art-making, where we provide the materials and the encouragement!
