Have you wondered about the significance of the silver lines on the floor throughout the RAM lobby? Or what inspired the swirling shape of our staircase? Did you know that our architecture was inspired by Alberta’s people and places?

Join us this July for a free Architecture and Design Tour, as part of Doors Open Festival.

Your guide will reveal inspired features of the museum that you may have overlooked. Discover the inspiration and symbolism behind elements such as the curvy staircase, decorative steel panels, and even the shape of our building.

This tour is best suited for adult visitors. Weather permitting, elements of this tour will be outside. Note that this tour does not include access to the RAM galleries.
