THEATRESPORTS® a fierce, no-holds-barred battle of wits and comedy as teams of improvisers face off in this high-energy, fast-paced competition!
This uniquely Albertan creation, founded by Keith Johnstone in Calgary and now staged by companies across the globe. Since 1980, Rapid Fire Theatre has remained one of the world’s largest and longest-running producers of the format.
Throughout IMPROVAGANZA 2026, our festival performers will compete head-to-head to see who reigns supreme, culminating in a high-stakes finals match on closing night.
