Join us for BFPC: Poetry In the Park—an afternoon of community poetry activation & open mic under the open sky!

Join us for an afternoon of poetry, reflection, connection, and creative expression beneath the open sky as we gather in the radiant energy of the Summer Solstice season.

The Summer Solstice energy invites us to pause and acknowledge all that has come into bloom within our lives. This time of year encourages celebration, gratitude, and gentle witnessing of our own becoming as we move through the fullness of summer's light.

Poetry in the Park is an accessible and welcoming community gathering where participants are invited to connect with nature, their inner voice, and one another through guided writing prompts, creative exploration, and optional sharing.

Whether you are an experienced poet, a journal writer, a musician, or someone who simply feels called to put pen to paper, this gathering offers a supportive space to slow down, listen deeply, and express what is alive within you.

Together we will write, reflect, and gather in community before concluding with a gentle open-mic style sharing circle for those who wish to share their words.

Bring a blanket, journal, pen, water bottle, and an open heart.

No previous writing experience is required.
