Where the true magic of live jazz happens!

Join Tony Flanagan (drums) as he hosts the Festival Open Jams with bandmates June Neilson (piano), Aretha Tillotson (bass), and a rotating roster of guest throughout the week. Each session begins with a song or two by the Festival House Band then Tony will invite those who sign-up onsite to participate to sit in.

Tony Flanagan’s drumming is a dynamic force in Edmonton’s music scene. A MacEwan University graduate, Tony is an emerging jazz voice known for compelling performances at venues like the Yardbird Suite and Edmonton Jazz Festival. His collaborations with artists like Joel Gray and Jeff Antoniuk showcase his skill and creativity, leaving a lasting impression wherever he plays.
