Anastasia Litviniuk Trio is a contemporary jazz trio led by acclaimed Ukrainian pianist and composer Anastasia Litviniuk, currently based in Edmonton. With a career spanning over two decades, Anastasia has performed extensively across Europe as both a bandleader and sought-after sideman, appearing in numerous jazz and crossover projects and major concert venues. Her musical voice blends strong classical foundations with modern jazz language, expressive lyricism, and a deep sense of groove.

Line-up:
Anastasia Litviniuk – piano
Josh McHan – bass
Igor Hnydyn – drums

The trio’s program, A Tribute to Chick Corea, is a heartfelt homage to the legendary pianist and composer whose music has profoundly shaped modern jazz. The performance features selected works from Corea’s vast catalogue, presented in the trio’s own fresh and dynamic interpretations. Audiences can expect vibrant rhythmic interplay, spontaneous improvisation, and moments of both high energy and intimate musical conversation.

Joining Anastasia on stage are two of Edmonton’s top jazz musicians: bassist Josh McHan and drummer Igor Hnydyn. Together, the trio creates a powerful collaborative sound, driven by trust, musical dialogue, and a shared passion for jazz tradition and innovation. This project celebrates Chick Corea’s enduring legacy while offering listeners a unique, contemporary perspective shaped by the trio’s diverse backgrounds and strong individual voices.
