Djabe is the number one representative of the Hungarian Jazz/World Fusion bands. Since 1995 they released more than fifty albums all over the world.

Djabe is the number one representative of the Hungarian Jazz/World Fusion bands. Since 1995 they released more than fifty albums all over the world. They have been performed in 44 countries at festivals, prestigious concert venues and clubs since 2001. Djabe has been working together with the world-famous Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett for more than 23 years. In 2023 Djabe started to work together with Chieli Minucci, the New Yorker guitarist, the leader of the Grammy-nominated jazz-fusion group Special EFX founded in 1982. The band earned many international and domestic awards and recognitions. They got the Hungarian Music Award, the prestigious eMeRTon Award (Hungarian National Broadcast Services), International PRince Award. Their Sheafs Are Dancing album was nominated to Surround Music Award in Los Angeles in 2004. The band members are the prominent musicians of the Hungarian jazz scene. Peter Kaszas, the drummer of the band, worked more than 10 years in Al Di Meola’s World Sinfonia band.
