This Friendly Friday features ASTech Award Winners (2022 Reimagine Architects and 2024 Regional Innovation Frog Lake (Cliffton Cross)), who have been collaborating for years, and will share how their "Collaboration by Design" is changing the future of Alberta.
Reimagine and Frog Lake First Nations have collaborated on several innovations over the past ten years. From co-creating a new High School attached to a Recreation Centre to developing a unique vision integrating traditional Horse Healing and Ceremony into Child and Family Services, and from integrating new technologies, a future education and innovation centre, a museum and others. Vivian and Cliffton will share a brief presentation and will be interviewed by Gail Powley to talk about what comes next!
This session will also feature Dr. Henry Tsang, Chair and Associate Professor at the RAIC Centre for Architecture, Athabasca University and 2025 ASTech Award Winner for Regional Innovation Champion, Research, adding a research and academic perspective to the discussion.
