Jane's Walk (bike) led by Terry Skidnuk from Paths for People
Description: Starting in Wîhkwêntôwin and using some of Edmonton's newest and most popular cycling routes, this bike journey will lead to Blatchford for an exploration of the developing neighbourhood including the city's two newest LRT stations as well as other points of interest. Along the way we will have brief stops to discuss some of the new bike infrastructure and upcoming new routes as part of the Yellowhead Trail road project. Finally, we will head east past NAIT along new, quiet neighbourhood paths created in 2025 that will take us along the controversial 96 Street before arriving back where we started. This 90 minute journey will include various schueduled stops for brief discussions on urbanism and a chance to better connect.
Please bring water and any snacks you may want, and a bike helmet!
Location: Railtown intersection at 102 Avenue and 110 Street
