Jane's Walk led by Senator Paula Simons

Description: Borden Park opened in 1906 - and oh, how much Edmonton history it has seen, in its 120 years! Over its lifespan, it's hosted everything from an amusement park to a zoo, to the first public pool in Edmonton to allow mixed (!) bathing! Today, the rejuvenated park is home to fantastical sculptures, an all-natural bathing pond, and Canada's best bathroom. Join Edmonton history buff (and senator) Paula Simons for a story-filled stroll through one of Edmonton's most resilient and resonant public spaces.

Location: Meet at the huge, multicoloured statue called "Vaulting Willow" within Borden Park (between 112th Ave and 111th Ave, at 77th St)
