The 2026 Edmonton International Cat Festival is a MONTH of cat-themed CATivities May 2-31, with our big pawty & festival finale returning Sunday, May 31, 2026 in Downtown Edmonton!

The Edmonton International Cat Festival is Canada's longest-running cat festival, and Alberta's biggest! We bring together cat lovers to celebrate cats and cat culture, while raising money and awareness for rescues helping cats in need! #YEGCatFest donates 100% of proceeds to local cat rescues.

Since 2014, we've raised $187,000 for local rescues helping cats in need.
