Did you know the Edmonton dance scene is one of the most vibrant in Canada? Members of the Edmonton dance community and the Alberta Dance Alliance are launching a new initiative, Dance Lives Here, on International Dance Day, April 29.

variety of performances, hear from members of Edmonton’s dance community, and learn more about an exciting new marketing initiative promoting dance in Edmonton.

According to Alberta Dance Alliance, there are 13 professional dance companies, 48 semi-professional dance groups and 43 independent dance artists in Edmonton. Plus, 79 community recreational dance groups, 123 registered dance studios and over 6100 youth training in dance – that’s something to celebrate. How can you be part of it?

If you are an independent dance artist, dance collective or dance company, we want to tell your story. We need your bio, images and videos to be used in marketing assets, events to be listed on the campaign page, and a link to your own online marketing assets to be distributed with campaign materials.
