In this episode of Simulation in Action, Associate Chair for Simulation and Interprofessional Education Lisa George, Simulation Technologist Thomas Waring, and Veterinary Technology Chair Nichole Boutilier share how they’ve grown IPE from a small pilot into a centralized program embedded across 20+ allied health and veterinary programs. They’ll walk through the IPE framework, from intentional scenario design and debriefing structures to large‑scale experiences like a mass‑casualty incident that brings together paramedics, firefighters, medical students, veterinary learners, and more.

You’ll also see how CAMS weaves community and patient partners into simulation design, uses awards and governance to sustain IPE culture, and even leverages major IPE events to support health‑tech innovation and applied research.
