Indigenous filmmaker Joshua Jackson will lead this workshop, sharing his own journey producing Hey, Viktor!, which was named one of Canada’s Top Ten films of 2023 by TIFF and won Best Dramatic Feature at imagineNATIVE; and his most recent film: Smudge the Blades soon to come out. This workshop explores how to pitch your film idea, focusing on the journey from idea to screen. Drawing on the process behind successful film pitching, the session will share practical tips and strategies to successfully pitch your idea for film, tv, new media and beyond!.
