The Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein uncover the details of the Watergate scandal that leads to President Richard Nixon's resignation, in this riveting dramatic thriller that blew the lid off the biggest political scandal of its time.

Nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture (and winning for Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay for the great William Goldman), this is perhaps the greatest film about journalism ever made … and it's more relevant today than ever.

Starring Robert Redford, Dustin Hoffman, Jason Robards, Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, Hal Holbrook, Jane Alexander, Meredith Baxter, and Ned Beatty.

Awards: Best Supporting Actor, Jason Robards (1977 Academy Awards); Best Adapted Screenplay, William Goldman (1977 Academy Awards)

Two of the greatest films of the 1970s came out in the same year and have not only stood the test of time but remain incredibly relevant today. NorthwestFilmFest is thrilled to present these bona fide classics on the big screen! Don't miss this rare opportunity to discover two of the greatest films from arguably the greatest decade of American filmmaking!
