The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the Chinese Deputy Consul General, Wang Xiusheng. This event is in partnership with the Canada China Friendship Society, bringing people together for a focused business dialogue and networking mixer.

Based at the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Calgary, Deputy Consul General Wang Xiusheng serves the consular district of Alberta, representing the Consulate General in supporting the overseas Chinese community and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation across the region. He is committed to building cultural bridges and strengthening mutual understanding between the people of China and the people of Alberta. In this role, Wang Xiusheng is an active presence at community events, including Lantern Festival galas, Spring Festival banquets, and Lunar New Year gatherings, where he engages with dignitaries and community leaders across Alberta. In these settings, he consistently champions the importance of China-Canada relations and the value of local cooperation. Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks while connecting with leaders working at the intersection of culture, education, trade and investment between Canada and China. This event is free to attend but registration is required.
