Cam Tait, Edmonton journalist, author & comedian with cerebral palsy, shares his story of resilience, media, and inspiration.

Cam Tait is a lifelong Edmonton journalist, author, comedian, and motivational speaker who has lived with cerebral palsy since birth.Cam's journey began in the public eye when he was featured as a child in a 1965 CBC documentary about living with CP~ an experience that helped shape his voice and passion for storytelling.He went on to build a remarkable 40‑year career in Canadian media, writing for the Edmonton Journal and continuing today with the Edmonton Sun, while also contributing daily on radio Sports 1440 with Jason Gregor.Cam authored the memoir Disabled? Hell No! I'm a Sit‑Down Comic!, and in 2022 was inducted into the Alberta Order of Excellence.You can check out his website at:camtaitspeaking.com
