Edmonton Tech Wednesdays is turning 3, and we’re celebrating the way we always do: by showing up.

What began as a weekly gathering for Edmonton’s tech community has grown into something bigger than any of us expected. 157 consecutive Wednesdays. More than 3,000 people through the door. Every single Wednesday, rain or shine, minus 30 or plus 30, the room fills up with developers, founders, designers, students, and people who are just curious about what’s being built in this city.

There’s no agenda. No keynote speakers. No pitch competitions. Edmonton Tech Wednesdays has always been about one thing: giving builders a room to find each other. Some of the best collaborations, co-founder introductions, and career moves in Edmonton’s tech scene started with two strangers grabbing a drink on a Wednesday night.

Three years and 157 weeks in, the formula is the same as week one. Show up. Talk to someone new. Come back next week.
